The first advance single from Zilqy’s first full-length album, Birth of Riot, is “World’s End.”

Since its debut performance at the band’s inaugural live show in December 2025, “World’s End” has become a defining centerpiece of Zilqy’s live set and one of the songs most closely associated with the band.

Driven by Toki’s instantly recognizable guitar riff, the track combines crushing breakdowns, atmospheric synth textures, and powerful yet emotionally charged melodies into a modern metal anthem that heralds the beginning of a new era. Blending globally competitive heaviness with the melodic sensibility unique to Japanese music, “World’s End” stands as a defining example of the Post-Melodic Nu Metal sound that Zilqy has made its own.

Lyrically, the song questions a world governed by fear and rigid conventions while portraying those who choose to rise through their own conviction and carve out a new future. As the opening statement of Birth of Riot, it introduces the central themes that run throughout the album. Nurtured and refined through countless live performances alongside fans, “World’s End” now serves as the first chapter in Zilqy’s next movement.

The artwork, once again created by acclaimed 3DCG artist Kyasya, continues the visual direction established for Birth of Riot.
