DISCOGRAPHY
A four-piece modern metal band consisting of Anna (Vo.), Toki (Gt./ex. Aldious), Miho (Ba./ex. LOVEBITES), and Kano (Dr.). Proclaiming themselves as a “Global All-Female Metal Band from Japan,” they set out to challenge the global metal scene through the universal language of metal.
Blending the heaviness of world-class modern metal with the emotional melodic sensibility unique to Japan and striking synth textures, Zilqy has forged its own musical identity as Post-Melodic Nu Metal. By combining the aggression of loud music with a universality that allows listeners from all backgrounds to share the same emotions, the band presents a new expression of modern metal that balances crushing heaviness with unforgettable melodies and powerful hooks.
At the center of the band’s sound is the expressive, soaring voice of bilingual vocalist Anna, riding over the heavy and dynamic musicianship of Toki, Miho, and Kano. Built with live performance in mind, Zilqy’s music delivers uncompromising heaviness while pursuing memorable melodies and striking hooks without sacrificing intensity.
Lyrically, the band’s songs portray individuals confronting conflict, loneliness, fear, and loss, while choosing to shape their own future through personal conviction. Rather than providing answers, Zilqy asks questions—encouraging listeners to think for themselves and take the first step through their own will.
Inspired by the concept of a citizens’ revolution, Zilqy expresses the belief that meaningful change does not come from someone else’s influence, but begins within each individual. As those small personal awakenings resonate with one another, they grow into a force capable of shaping the future.
